It’s time to Dream

 

    

How many princess movies have you seen? I love the way they always have a huge audacious dream. A life changing dream. They know that things in their life will not stay the same. And so they dream. 

Dreaming is a place to escape the realities of life.  Not in a bad way- I see it as a tool to create something new and better. It is a safe place to imagine, what if... It is a place to try out new scenarios and try out different stories. What if my life could be different? How would I choose to live? 

We think that having a lot of wealth, being super hot, or being famous is the solution to happiness. Science tells us otherwise. These types of things only make us slightly happier. Having health, wealth and influence are tools that can be used to lead to a happier life if used well and shared in a way to bless others. Our world needs healing. We need connection. We need love. What if you could share your life in a way that will bless others?

Homemaking is the perfect place to dream and learn to create something new and better There is endless mundane work to do. Your mind is free to think, create, plan, organize and dream. When there is a task that must be done, I put on my apron, gather my tools, and pretend that I am a maid in a grand house. In my mind I am professional. I take pride in my work, and work to create a glorious environment. As I change tasks, I change the roles that I am playing. Sometimes I am the maid, the cook, the nanny, the mother, the Lady of the house. 

I want to create a home and environment that reflects beauty, calm, peace, love. A home is a place to create, to heal, to connect, to love. What could that feel like? What could it look like? What could it smell like? 

Those princess' had to learn where to start to create a place of beauty- inside and out. Maybe they have opportunities that the average person doesn't have? 

Become a student. 

We live in a world where we have access to the best music, art, literature, and opportunities greater than what was available to kings and queens of the past. 

Now is the time to pick up your own crown and develop the skills to create your own kingdom. It’s time to dream.
